Case Study: Bespoke Furniture for Kickair in Manchester

27th May 2026

Category:

Kickair, a popular trampoline park in Manchester, approached us to refresh the seating and tables in their busy customer areas. With their existing furniture over 10 years old and showing its age, they needed a tailored solution that would stand up to the demands of a busy family venue – all while matching their brand. Here’s how we did it.

The Challenge

This project involved close collaboration with the client, who knew exactly what they wanted. Kickair needed:

  • Bright orange, solid-colour chairs to match their existing decor
  • Furniture suitable for both adults and children, given the mixed audience of parents and kids
  • Products that were strong and durable, but still comfortable for extended use
  • A high standard of quality to match the long lifespan of their previous furniture

With over a decade of use from their previous chairs, Kickair had high expectations for longevity and performance. We worked closely with the team to make sure every detail was right.

The Solution

To meet Kickair’s brief, we supplied a bespoke range of contract furniture in Manchester that combined style, strength and comfort. Our install included:

1. Bespoke Rochester side chairs

The centrepiece of the project was finding chairs that represented the Kickair brand. We supplied orange chairs in our Rochester style to perfectly complement their existing interior and branding. The chairs were sourced specifically for this job as they weren’t part of our standard stock range.

Kickair’s chairs were designed to survive the wear and tear that comes with being a busy trampoline park.

To make sure they were fully confident in the product, we supplied a sample set of the table, chair and base ahead of the full order. This gave them the opportunity to see, feel and approve the furniture before signing off on the project.

2. Custom black frame finish

While the standard version of this chair comes with a chrome frame, we adapted the specification to better suit Kickair’s branding:

  • Black powder-coated frames in place of the standard chrome
  • A more modern, on-brand finish that worked with the venue’s overall look
  • Consistent across the full order for a cohesive feel throughout their space

This kind of small detail makes a big difference when you’re aiming for a branded contract furniture finish that feels considered rather than off-the-shelf.

3. Matching tables and bases

To complete the install, we supplied coordinating tables and bases that worked perfectly with the new seating:

  • Tables sized appropriately for family use
  • Sturdy bases built for daily commercial wear
  • A unified look across the whole seating area

4. Full installation service

As well as supplying the furniture, we handled the installation from start to finish. This included:

  • On-site delivery and assembly by our team
  • Minimal disruption to Kickair’s day-to-day operations
  • A finished space ready for customers to use straight away

The Result

We were delighted to deliver this contract furniture installation for such a popular venue in Manchester. Our client was so pleased with the outcome that they returned to place a third order shortly after installation.

This project highlights what matters most when choosing made-to-order contract furniture:

  • Durability – materials built for constant, high-volume use
  • Adaptability – solutions tailored to real-world site challenges
  • Design – elevated finishes that don’t compromise on practicality
  • Partnership – a straightforward, collaborative process from start to finish
