Adding Italian Flair to a Scottish Golf Club

The Brief

A well-established golf club on the outskirts of Glasgow, Scotland needed help with furnishing a new Italian restaurant on-site. The restaurant serves a range of delicious Italian dishes and hosts popular live events. Warner Contracts Limited was appointed to specify, supply and install commercial restaurant furniture to suit the venue’s attractive contemporary interior design.

The new Italian restaurant within the golf club comprises a large, well-lit space with an open kitchen. The interior design is based on neutral colours. The walls are off white and there is a warm wooden parquet floor. The overall ambience is one of relaxed dining.

For this client we supplied and installed the full specification in just three weeks, in time for the restaurant’s official opening.

Contemporary, relaxed dining space

The stylish mid-century design of our Naso Restaurant Chairs were a perfect choice for the space. The Naso chair is hard-wearing and good-looking. It comprises a solid beech frame and a fully upholstered seat and curved seat back.

We supplied 140 Naso chairs in total with a quality black stain for the wooden frame and with contract quality faux leather upholstery. Half were in ivory faux leather and half in dark brown. We offer a choice of more than 20 great upholstery colours for our bespoke dining chairs and 12 quality wood stains for the legs and frame.

Restaurant tables need to be strong, durable, and easy to move around to create different dining settings when required. We recommended two table bases from our popular Forza range.

The Forza Small Square Table Base for 2-seater dining tables and the Forza Rectangular Table Base for a 4-seater option. The Forza Rectangular has one pedestal which provides guests with lots of leg room. We supplied 21 of each. Both are are extremely hard-wearing as they are made from cast iron. And their black powder coated finish means they will fit in with most contemporary design schemes.

The final element of the restaurant specification was the table tops. The client opted for our bespoke 600mm Square and 1200x600mm Rectangular Laminate Table Tops in a Black Brown Sorano Oak finish.

Laminate table tops are ideal for busy restaurants as they are extremely hard-wearing, stain and scratch resistant and easy to wipe clean. Our laminate table tops also feature anti-chip edges as standard. For this client we supplied the table tops with a 40mm thickness and a matching ABS edge in Black Brown Sorano Oak.
